Free shipping on all orders over $35!
Each selection option for this listing should be understood to be a cutting unless the word “rooted” is in the option name
-An exceptionally stunning succulent, E. Cooperi can reach heights of 20ft or more. An easy plant to get rooted and thriving, these will truly stun and dazzle even the most seasoned plant guru with their iconic spade shaped segments and billowing candelabra form.
-Originally from Southern Africa, these plants are accustomed to harsh temperatures and low water. They do however, appreciate more frequent waterings during the growing season (March-September). While in winter they go dormant and need hardly any water at all.
-Requires well draining soil to be successful. We handmix our own top tier cactus/succulent soil, comprised of 65% inorganic / 35% organic material mixture. You should aim for this ratio or similar.
-Not cold hardy so if you live in a zone that gets below freezing, it’s best to plant this succulent in a pot that can be brought indoors for winter.
-Prefers at least 6 hours of sunlight a day and will reward you with monumental growth.
-Rooting & care instructions are included with your order.
-Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
Thank you and happy planting!
TERMS OF SALE:
•Strict limit of 5 cuttings/rooted plants per customer, per calendar year. If this threshold is surpassed, orders under the same name, account, or shipping address will be canceled immediately.
• Plants need proper care and attention to stay alive. Care and/or rooting instructions are included with every order, but it’s critical that buyers do their own research of the unique needs of your chosen plant so that it will succeed in the buyer's specific growing conditions. You are responsible for your plant’s needs or issues as they arise. The overall health of your plant will be dependent on your environment and the care that you provide. We are always happy to help if you have questions or are unsure how to proceed.
•It is the buyer's responsibility to inform us of any particular desired characteristics or traits they may have in mind before we have shipped your order. Aspects such as size, color, branching type etc, can be requested by buyers and we will fulfill those requests if possible. Please message us directly or include your request in the note to seller section of your order.
• It is the buyer’s responsibility to inform us of any pertainant dates or occasions relating to arrival (i.e requesting birthday gift to arrive by.. etc).
• Once a plant(s) leaves our care and is with the shipping courier, the burden of liability is transferred to the buyer
• We are not responsible for plants arriving damaged due to delayed transit time or weather-related harm. If the low temperatures are dipping below 40F, it is important to consider purchasing a heat pack for your plants package. We suggest purchasing one to be safe rather than sorry. It is the buyer’s responsibility to purchase a heat pack (a separate listing in our shop) with your order to ensure your plant(s) survive the cold journey ahead. Seller will not be liable for cold related damage if additional protections were not included in the order. Of course, if we catch that a cactus is destined for a cold climate, ( i.e NY in January) and you didn’t purchase a heat pack, we will message you requesting you do so. You may choose to opt out if the local temperatures are mild enough that the plant(s) has a decent chance of survival. If the lack of a needed heat pack is noticed and we do not receive input from you, we will not send your package until your input or heat pack purchase is received. After three business days of no response or action taken after the initial request, the order will be cancelled.
• We are not responsible for any courier error or mishandling that could occur. Examples include a crushed package, a lost package, a delayed package, or any other relevant instance. We are able to help file a claim with USPS and get a replacement sent to you. This is only possible after both the buyer and seller have completed the necessary steps outlined by USPS and their claim system. In the event of damaged plants while in transit, you must keep the box and materials it arrived in. This is in part due to USPS’s requirement to present the damaged materials to them as evidence after a claim submission.
• Please take time to check your plant’s condition as soon as it arrives. Any issues with your plant need to be reported to us within 48 hours of the delivered time stamp from USPS with detailed photos.
• If an error was made on our behalf, we will gladly issue a refund or send a replacement.
• We do our best to detail the approximate size, shape and style of the plants available for purchase in the item description and in the drop down menu when making a selection. These detailings are rough estimates however and there may be marginal deviations from your selected option to the plant you receive. We suggest reaching out to us privately requesting information of potential options so you know all the details before purchase and arrival.
• By purchasing from Cactology Cactus Co. you are agreeing to these Terms of Sale and you understand the inherent risk associated with shipping live plants. Plant tissue may get damaged, some roots may die back off, these are not highly unusual outcomes when receiving shipped plants. We are here 24/7 365 to answer any question/concern you may have and to provide assistance as best as possible.
These TERMS OF SALE are final as soon as the package has been processed by our team and a shipping label has been created. You can request to cancel your order so long as it has not been processed. Our processing time typically takes 24 hours.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns. We are always eager and happy to help and/or provide you answers.
